History:
Built in 1923, the largest school complex (6000m2) in Rotterdam at the time: we present the Hillehof. Designed by architect Walter Dahlen, in collab with Ad van der Steur; both architects designed several schools in Rotterdam such as ‘Bergsingel’ and ‘Zeevaartschool’. Originally, the building housed three schools and in addition to classrooms, there was also a gymnasium, a bathhouse, two staffhouses and an indoor children’s playground.
This former school complex is located between Sikkelstraat, Vorkstraat and Ploegstraat in the Rotterdam-South: Vreewijk, specifically.

Vreewijk itself is a historic garden city district known for its unique urban planning and architectural design. Vreewijk was one of the first garden city developments in the Netherlands, designed in the early 20th century.
The Zuidplein shopping center with its many shops is around the corner and at this shopping center there is a metro that takes you to Rotterdam Central Station and the city center in 10 minutes. Close by to several highways (A15 + A16) and multiple bus stops (within walking distance).

Lay out:
Entrance in living room which will be tastefully furnished. A sitting- and dining area is created with access to the new kitchen. Both bedrooms are equipped with a double bed. The open kitchen is equipped with modern appliances and there is a washing machine and dryer present in the property. The new and beautiful bathroom has a walk-in shower, toilet and washing basin with mirror.
