The Olympic Quarter is a large, relatively new and large apartment complex located at the edge of the popular old-south area and very close to the A10. All street names in the area are connected to Greek goddesses. The neighborhood is safe and residential with lots of families both locals and ex-pats. It's very well connected to the Zuidas and Schiphol but at the same time close to the older part of old-south with its many boutique shops, supermarkets, and one of the best bakeries in town (Le Fournil at Stadionweg), Vondelpark, Amsterdamse Bos, etc. Within 20 minutes by bike, you'll be in the heart of the city center/canal area. The tramstation is at 5 min. walking distance, metro station Amstelveenseweg at 7 minutes, and train station Zuid at approx. 10 minutes walking distance. In other words, it's very well connected to all transportation.
